Here are the Best Keto Beef Dinners for you to consider for your next meal.  All of the recipes are super easy to prepare.  Remember that beef is high in saturated fat.  I’ve suggested using grass-fed beef if you want the recipe to be more heart healthy.  Grass-fed beef is lower in saturated fat, higher in Omega 3 fatty acids and antioxidants and has less exposure to hormones and antibiotics.   The choice is yours. I’ve also included recipes to enhance your beef dishes, such as a marinade and some seasoning rubs. 

CAN I USE GRASS-FED BEEF FOR MY KETO BEEF DINNERS?

Grass-fed beef has less overall saturated fat compared to its classic counterparts. The old adage is true, “No Fat No Flavor.”  Fat certainly adds to the juiciness and tenderness of the beef.   Grass-fed cattle generally have more muscle than fat because of grazing on natural turf.  This can make the meat have more dense muscle fiber making the meat harder to chew. 

Since grass-fed beef is leaner, it is really less forgiving when it comes to cooking and certainly to overcooking.   There are a few tips to keep in mind if you choose grass-fed beef for your dinner recipes:

Grass-fed beef is best tasting when cooked to medium-rare or medium doneness.  If you like your beef to be well-done, it’s probably better to stick to grain-fed beef.

Be sure to use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking.

Marinading can make a world of difference for tenderizing the meat.  Below you’ll find a fabulous marinade recipe.

If you’re grilling, use indirect heat for grass-fed beef cuts to help prevent overcooking.

While this is true for all beef, be sure to rest the cooked meat before slicing it to allow its juices to redistribute.  This in itself can enhance tenderness and juiciness.
